Kings Ransom | 1994 Cigar Aficionado Dinner of the Century | Davidoff of London #shorts

In 1994, Marvin Shankin of Cigar Aficionado hosted the “Dinner of the Century“ in Paris. This legendary cigar dinner raised money through an auction for the Cuban Medical Relief Fund. At this auction, one of the lots was called of the “Kings Ransom.“ It consisted of 100 Trinidad, 100 Cohiba Cohiba Pyramid, and 100 Cohiba Grand Corona and sold for $200,000 USD, or $415,000 in todays dollars.
