Not everyone need best of the best in every corners. Sometimes, just being decent is enough.
From what I can see, this Xperia 10 VI seems to have great design, great battery, (usually) nice UI, decent processor, decent camera, and sufficient IP rating which is near PERFECT for my needs. All that left is the pricing.
I do hope Sony can set it in the right spot and it's going to be my next phone for sure.

Looks good. The Xperia 10 VI finally gets a CPU upgrade: Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm), 8-core. I got the Xperia 5 IV 256GB and happy with it. The 3.5mm headphone jack, and Mirco SD storage options are both unique and welcome features. Sony please keep making compact style phones 👍

Now this is for the Sony R&D team
= Main reasons I'm buying a Sony 10 VI phone this time:

- 3.5mm
- no fingerprint scanner under the screen (i prefere no fingerprint scanner at all but under the screen is the worst)
- waterproof


I would have gladly paid over 3x more and bought 1 VI if it was more compact and didnt have a glass backplate.
Im just tired of having huge phones that barely fit in my pocket. And having to put an extra casing on the phone because its almost completly made out of glass is just making it even chunkier.
The last thing i want is a phone that limits me from doing stuff, and the 1 VI size+fragility would have.

Seriously, 21:9 is horrendous. Why not make the phone 1-2 centimeter shorter instead and decrease the side bezels at the same time? Need to decrease the batterysize slightly? Ok, no Problem. Improve battery endurance elsewhere, like screen or soc efficiency. Oh that makes it more expensive? No problem. Improve speaker and camera at the same time and ill gladly pay double the price. I dont really like xperia 10 VI from a lot of perspectives, screen is compareably bad, its aspectratio sucks, speakers dont sound good like 1VI, crappy camera, no wireless charging. Not even basics like usb 3.0+ or wifi6+?! But right now there really arent many other options out there.

At 300$ it will do fine as a temporary relatively compact waterproof phone with good batterylife and 3.5mm headset plug. Hopefully in 2 years you have something better.

Sony should make a 4k 12 inch bravia tablet for work and content creators. Headphone jack. Expandable storage. 80w charging. 16gb ram.

Sony group shuld introduced it's mobile phones portfolio in India. If India buy iphones and Samsung in over 1 lakh retail price then there is no longer problem for Sony group selling it's flagship product here easily
