Nice rack! Lodge Cookware Storage Tower Review

Uncle Scott's Kitchen reviews a Lodge Cookware Storage Tower. When kitchen storage is at a premium, is this the best way to store cast iron pans? Find out!

**VIDEO UPDATE** These racks should cost around $100, +/- $10 or so. I paid about $100 for mine and got it on Amazon with free shipping. They are mostly sold out now (hope the review had something to do with that, but I don't know) but one retailer has marked them at around $230. I would NOT pay that much for this rack. My 3/4's-thumbs-up review is based on a normal price of around $100. I don't like anyone jacking up prices, especially if it is due to short supply. If you are looking for one, wait for inventory to be replenished and prices to return to normal.

Put the PLANTS on it and the pots/pans back where they belong! Good review Scott. Hello from Tampa-St. Pete!

It's about time Lodge came out with this! That LeCreuset rack for between $400-600 is dumb!

I think you single handedly sold them all for Lodge. I went on their website, they are not in stock. Amazon has options at 200+ only.

Hi Uncle Scott, I like your reviews. I suggest that you review Stoneware in future shows. The good stuff is broilerproof and cleans up easily. As a starting point, look at Le Creuset, Staub and Emile Henry.

Add a screw to the wall put it through a washer as you screw it, make a wire loop that goes through the washer and loops around one of the three lets at the top, that should keep it from tipping over

Do the Ikea/flat screen hack for tipping furniture. Screw a retaining strap to the wall.

I know you normally do pots and pans videos but I want to ask if you use cooking oil misters and if you do which one do you think Is the better one..I'm looking to purchase one but I don't know which one would be the easiest and better one to get. Thanks..

Been a long time since I've heard anyone else use the word "tump". I thought it was just me!

Putting your oiled pans out in the open will help keep the dust down in your house.

I was getting nervous there when you were talking about your wife in a video titled 'Nice Rack'. lol I wonder if you can add a couple (I guess it would be 3) short support legs so it would be less likely to tip over? Sure looks good though.

It’s not bad looking, but I wouldn’t want that out in the kitchen . Perhaps tucking that away in the pantry would be best.
