Honestly, getting a Masters degree from schools like University of Illinois, Purdue, Georgia Tech, University of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, CalTech, etc. will get you employment in Silicon Valley.

Why do you rank Santa Cruz so low? I feel like it should be 3rd or 4th based upon the outcome of CS graduates. The average salary of a CS student (according to payscale) would put Santa Cruz in 3rd place. 4/5 friends I know that went to Santa Cruz for CS got hired before graduation by the big 4 (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook).

I can go to sf state and potentially graduate sooner or I can go to San Jose state, which I’ve heard is a better school and graduate about 6 months to a year later.
