Love your reviews and thank you for another great review. I purchased the game, even though it seemed your recommendation is a little lukewarm. The artwork layout is a bit subdued for my tastes. The pictures are beautiful, however the layout of the cards and the map just come across a little plain. I may attempted to design a better layout for my own copy.

The replay value and cardplay choices in Ethnos made me wait for it instead of backing another area control game, King's Road. Looked fun when the Dice Tower played in in their recent gaming marathon as well.

I'm a big fan of Paolo Mori, after playing Libertalia.  I didn't realize until just today that he designed Ethnos, as well.  While it looks a little plain, I really want to play it, and maybe can get it for a good price somewhere.

Seems perfect for the family. I'm really enjoying Paolo Mori's designs. Definitely seeking this one.

Everyone at CMON Expo was talking about it this weekend. That and Lorenzo il Magnifico. I think this one is more fun.

i just picked this up over the weekend and i was super impressed by the insert. i usually make foamcore inserts so when i get a game that i don't need to do extra work for i'm excited! everything has a place. although i doubt it would allow for sleeves.

Game looks great! I'll be looking to add it to my collection.

I don't find this game appealing at all, but appreciate the solid review and game explanation.

sounds pretty decent, but visually I wasn't grabbed by it at all.  peace Joel

Man, I am okay with the cards, but the board is so ugly. I hate being that guy, but... look at it. Why are we still making these drab boards in 2017? Gameplay looks interesting, and that is the most important thing, of course. Great review, Joel, thank you.
