Often, people feel they know much about Winston Churchill as a servant to his country from easily attained and general information, but they know little about Winston Churchill’s personal life. Winston Churchill was a husband, a father, a painter, and a historian, among many other things. While he also maintains the status of a war hero and prime minister, he was much more in life. His aspirations and desires were a large part of who he was and how he attained his goals.

When I saw Colombia labeled as Cuba... my heart broke a little

The country showed as cuba is actually Colombia, Cuba is an island on the Caribbean near the US

I love how we went from Churchill entering Parliament, then it’s WW2, no mention of WW1, his role in Ireland, losing his seat twice and his role in the abdication crisis.

Also the implication that Churchill was rejected because he supported progressive action on social issues is laughable. Atlee’s government is one of the most progressive the UK has ever had, it’s positive impact is still felt today (and I mean that literally I’m just back from a doctor’s appointment).

A good video, but I think it should include Churchill's significant role in WW1 and between the wars.

The "narrator" of this video is from bright side! Recognisable voice.

Here is one of UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s* most famous quotes : “Tact is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.” 💙🇬🇧❤️

* Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill (1874 - 1965) served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom TWICE, from 1940 to 1945, and again from 1951 to 1955.

Major error! In your photo of the three leaders at 1:07 -- from left to right -- you misidentify Stalin as Roosevelt, Roosevelt as Chuchill, and Churchill as Stalin! For credibility sake, you really should correct. Other viewers have previously and correctly noted that you mislabeled Cuba as Colombia

I’m a big Churchill fan. Apart from the previously mentioned inaccuracies regarding Canada, Colombia, and the identification of the pictures of the ‘big three’, the one thing I had forgotten and was briefly mentioned (7min 1 sec) in the video was that Churchill as Leader of the Opposition lost the 1950 General Election. He won in 1951 though.

2:52 That is Colombia, people. It's not Cuba. Completely different countries. I mean, I'm not an expert in geography, but come on. You should correct it. It's been five years 😨

1938: German expansion - Chamberlain and appeasement - you have a
Polish flag. It should be a Czech flag, as the Sudaten lands and
Czechoslovakia were invaded then.

Why was the First World War of Churchhill's life not included or his sacking as leader of the British Navy and rising as WW1 army leader. I believe this to be a key part of his life.
