I'm surprised the Caramoan challenge where you have to avoid drowning at high tide wasn't included or mentioned. That one seems like such a thin line between holding your breath to win a challenge and accidental drowning.

I was gonna point out how much of a miracle it is that none of these contestants didn't even sue production for breaking safety hazards, but I have a sneaking suspicion that all contestants signed a contract that waved their rights to do so.

Watching Joel drag Chet through that challenge hurt so much. Poor little guy never stood a chance. I felt like I was watching a live reenactment of the coyote tied to a rocket bouncing from rock to rock in the canyon.

The attack zone was by far the most dangerous challenge. You had to survive being associated with Survivor: Thailand.

FYI, the "better" camp they were racing towards in item 4 was actually the WORSE camp according to everyone who visited both camps that season. It was a mini-controversy post-season.

I still can't get over how Rupert smashed Jerri down and then proceeds to get angry at her when she is rightfully upset.

Even with just a brief mention that mouth-meat challenge haunts me. When Jeff happily tells them they get to keep the spit-covered meat I died a little inside.

Seeing that a couple of those challenges were at Heroes vs Villains makes me realize they wanted a lot of struggle and fighting between the Tribes... more than usual, I mean

What’s always been odd to me is with challenges like these they don’t wear any protective gear.

Think of the challenge on MTV. They do physical challenges all the time or challenges where they fall into water but always wearing helmets, knee pads, mouth guards, etc

Honestly I'm convinced the only thing they could've done to make Schmergen Brawl more unsafe was attach primed C4 to the contestants and tell them good luck

I know it’s for safety concerns but I miss the physical contact challenges from old survivor. Everything is a puzzle race in the current seasons.

My favourite part is Boston Rob seeing Jerry get slammed by Rupert and just body checking Rupert.

That one challenge in Survivor 42 where Jonathan beasted his way for Taku while the other two tribes struggled to stay afloat was pretty hard to watch. Less the challenge and more the conditions, though

6:04 might be my fav survivor clip ever. I die every time💀. Jeff's scream, him acting like he got hit by it, and the noise Spencer made. Utter perfection

Making a blindfolded dude walk through a course where every obstacle is nut high is hilarious.

This was easily the Survivor video that I had the hardest time getting through. Watching people get injured, especially stuff like knees bending backward and faces getting cut open, it's really hard to watch. Survivor sounds fun in theory but I could never do it cause of stuff like this
