I used to put a magnet in a plastic bag collect the swarf, and turn the bag inside out. This looks good.

Magnetic brooms are gifts to metal workers from Hephaestus himself.

Problem is, elechickens don’t clean up after themselves.

It looks a helluva lot easier and cleaner than using a magnet in a plastic bag, then turning the bag inside out and trying to get all the small debris out of the bag!

Apropos of nothing.
My mate used a nifty little trick the other day.
He was using a laser level, he nailed a hand saw to a piece of structure at roughly the level he needed.
He stuck the level to the saw blade and moved it up or down to get the exact level he needed.
Really quick and simple.
I’m presuming everyone knows this but I didn’t.
I’ll be copying him sometime soon. 👏

Used in crematoria for removing ferrous metals from cremated remains

It's from Evolution for those who have trouble access the description, I got it at the same time as the dedicated metal chop saw from them, with the quick clamp feature. Both are great.

Normally use a Welders magnet in an inside-out bag. Like the idea of it, but what's the price tag?

My dog likes to be with me in the shop. I use this same wand to pick up the metal debris so she doesn't get metal slivers. Works fantastic.

I have the old fashioned 1 where you got to take the metal off by hand lol
