Cirrus SR20 flight into KNLC Lemoore Naval Air Station

The Lemoore Navy Flying Club invited some other pilots to fly into KNLC (with proper documentation) for lunch and to listen to a presentation by Al Blumer - 5" Gunners Mate on the USS Enterprise. I could not decline the offer.

I used my new Garmin VIRB camera but I mounted it on my ipad mount which flexes a bit with bumps or from using the ipad. I'll move the mount to a more traditional dash top mount and try to eliminate the camera movement.

Initially I was planning on going in to 32R, but was routed to 32L due to traffic. I am glad the tower warned me about the arresting cable 3000' down the runway. The approach/departure/tower controllers were all very accommodating and patient with the influx of GA aircraft in a short window.

I had a great time. Thank you to all who made it happen.

Thank you.  It is a Garmin VIRB Elite action camera.  It has a built in GPS to overlay the flight data on screen.  I also have the cable to record audio from the radios but did not have it on during this flight.  Great camera for (auto) racing too.

Great video! Could you please let me know which software did you use to allow the flight information on the screen?
