40 Tory MPs threatened with expulsion from the party for abstaining in the vote last night. MPs not even allowed to follow their heart of conscience now. There were many more than 40 MPs against fracking, threatened, disgraceful. Parliament in disrepute, being watched by the world.

They are supposed to work for us. If I had an employee fail in such a catastrophic manner in a senior position, they would be expected to fall on their sword and resign, or be fired. So why can't we have the say?

I firmly believe that if the prime minister goes, regardless of the reason, it should be an automatic general election. Let their employer make the decision.
