Michael was a very proud black man. I can't stand it when people try to say he wanted to be white. He had Vitiligo and his autopsy confirms it. R.i.p. Michael! I will love and miss you forever!

Michael was a black man that felt he was home in South Africa with Nelson Mandela, but this video was interesting.

The shaman background explains a little why Michael was an empath and desired so much to heal the world ❤️

He didn’t change his skin colour. But he had surgeries that is because he didn’t want to look like Joseph (his father). But he was actually proud to be a black man.

Michael Jackson will always be black because black is beautiful and he just wanted to touch everybody in different race all over the world in his mind and his heart and soul and definitely accomplish that

Michael said he was a black American and he was proud of it and he was honored to be black. He had a skin disease that he said was from Joe's side of the family. He was rehearsing and had an accident. MJ fell and broke his nose. He used that as an opportunity to make his nose thinner. He felt subconscious from his father teasing him . Joe would call him big nose. According to Dr. Gary Strick what MJ didn't know at the time was that he had Lupus. The Lupus made it difficult for his nose to heal properly. The Dr said all the subsequent surgeries to the nose were reconstructive not cosmetic.

As a black woman I am proud of what he has accomplished. I will get into race a little because it's nice to see that compared to centuries ago a black man went from being looked down on and seen as less than but Michael was practically worshipped. Yes, he received and experience racist situations and comments but generally speaking he was larger than life. You had white men and women fainting at the sight of him. He had that much power over people and all he did was stand on stage for 2 minutes. I'm proud of what he accomplished compared to his white counterparts at the time because of what it means for black people and what it has done for black artists today 🥺

Very interesting. That explains the high cheeks bones and light “black” skin. The truth is, most of us are biracial or multiracial regardless of our skin color. I have black ancestry, but I don’t look black at all. Either way, I love MJ just the way he was.

It's so insane to think of all the turmoil his ancestors went through. They could have easily been killed and we never would have had him in the world.

This needs to be turned into a movie, a significant amount of African Americans today have a lot of native ancestry because of the relationship they had with the slaves, the slaves would runaway to the the natives for protection

obviously he hated his nose cause of his father so he had surgeries to make it look more on his mothers side.

I remember when I was little and just starting to become a fan of Michael I read stuff online about his Native American ancestry. I was really happy and excited because I’m half Native American myself thought it was cool to have that connection with him. The only time I think I really heard him mention it was in the outtakes of the bashir documentary. Bashir was asking him if he had his cheekbones done or something and Michael said he had some Indian in his family before shutting down the stupid questions. Jimi Hendrix actually had a lot of Native American ancestry as well. There’s this documentary called Rumble that talks about it and Native Americans in rock n roll music and their influence. I totally recommend it!
