Animation Layers Addon for blender... I Cannot stress this enough... its AWESOME..and does exactly what you need in blender

I agree with the other guy, Animation Layers allows you to make changes and the original animation isn't destroyed. I'm using it and loving it

This drove me mad.... My shoulders kept popping back up to original place...Didnt realise I had > sample all motion parts selected and not realised you had to flatten the parts....
Thanks for this great tip i had to search back in my history for this vid. I was looking for a beardy bloke with a funny accent in the thumbnails... hehe
Hope this Motion clip section will have an overhaul in IC8, can be a bit fiddly!!!!

Blender: Animation Layers OR just use built-in NTR - those things are way more powerful than what I see in iClone. The fact that the motion is barely editable, you can only have one motion at a time and 1 additive animation layer on top and zero constraints... I'm feeling pain from using iClone and the more I use it the more I feel it's not me, it's the iClone that's barely usable for anything outside of basic.

P.S. although that's not to say iClone doesn't have neat features: lip-sync and expression puppeteering/iPhone mocap do seem quite nice. But the rest of the animation package is pure pain.

Hi and thanks for your helpful video. Could you please show us how to clean up mocap data in terms of mocap jitter / Parkinson. How could I clean this up in iclone?

It's not just you. My shoulders do the same in a Mocap suit.

Hello Markom.. please can you tell us why almost 90% of mocap looks unatural and not realistic ? I mean that everyone can understand that this is a computer mocap movement...I tried many mocap file to Unreal Engine (Metahuman) and to iclone and every time they are far beyond realism and realistic body movement.. this is the case in at least 90% of mocap.. it would be nice to have a tutorial of how to make a mocap file (like the one in your example) more realistic as it concern the movements, the motion, not only the skeleton.
