Its pretty funny how his Raging Demon dash sprite in the original SF2 is just his jump animation and that carried over.

The fireball cancel is sick. Another fun one I use is PC sweep, wiff stHK (+4) Demon. Lol no one has jumped it yet, most people mash thinking stHK was an accident.

Small correction. I could be wrong, but I think you have to input the forward direction before you hit light punch and heavy kick.

For Demon Setup 3 if you are raw drive rushing you can input parry + lp + forward > parry + lp + forward > forward + hp + lk. Makes it a bit easier than trying to buffer the entire demon input during the drive rush.

this video is godlike, this kind of content is amazing not just as a guide but it also helps newer players think about the game differently/get excited about all the intricacies of the game

I'm not even an akuma player and these are awesome

If you're a pad player what I found to be a game changer to input the demon instantly is making either a trigger or bumper button a Light kick/Heavy kick input. That way you can input forward, light kick and heavy punch at the same time without worrying about using your thumb to input both light and heavy kick. For me personally I made it my left bumper button. So I can use my left thumb to input forward, my left index finger to hit the light kick/heavy kick bumper, and my right thumb to hit heavy punch.

I Loved using his Raging Demon as Cyber Akuma in Street Fighter V! 🖤

The forward input can't be on the same frame as LK+HP, needs to be at least 1 frame before or the demon won't come out.

I don't even play Akuma but this is the kind of videos I was expecting to fins when I was newer into fighting games. The fact that you explain when to delay/rush inputs, show how the frame bar should look like and the explanation behind it all, it makes for a great learning experience.
Thank you for your work.

Great video! It'll definitely take some practice before I impliment these into my gameplan, but who knows! The mix off of light tatsu sweep seems reliable if I can read my opponent, the stand heavy punch seems relatively straight forward, and the method of reacting to someone that actually blocks both hits of standing heavy kick could definitely come in handy lmfao. Definitely running away with some simple and straight forward stuff here, but I'm looking to get the more complex stuff down as well. Thanks Brian!

Hey Brian, I would just like to add my own demon setup. Its actually a link off of the heavy hashogeki but only do the first hit. Youre left at +3 on hit and in grab range so you can input Demon and any button will get counter hit. They cant jump out after the flash of course so if they dont know then they get got lol

You can also buffer LP with another button. I.e., HP+LP x 2, then the moment it hits, press the rest of the inputs.

Thank you so much for this. Could you also do a video on Akumas Oki? Not a lot of information out there for this.
