For anyone wondering what the tunnel is for, its meant for the dead treasure chest which is only available if u pruchased the ultimate edition. At the middle of the túnel there is a wall that there is a small room through a crack that gives u the final peice of the map. However if it is not the ultimate edition, then its just a empty tunnel. No hidden room.

I didn't know about the existence of this tunnel and yet I've played this game for many hours and completed 100% of the game. It's crazy to know how many hidden things there are in this game. Thanks for sharing this.

Those tunnels were part of a remove mission from the game. This mission was supposed to be a mission, where We were supposed to still gold and get no bounty this mission was supposed to happen before the Lemoyne bank heist but rockstar never finished it

Saying that's actually not a hidden tunnel that's actually an olden day docking tunnel they used to freaky dark little tunnel used to get little boats to dock and they would carry the cargo from the boat up through that tunnel into the storage

Yep...I've visited this not-very-hidden tunnel a couple times to grab collectibles. It's not nearly as impressive as the cave system in the mountains near Roanoke Ridge. (One entrance is at the bottom of the "A" in the word "Annesburg" on the map.)

There was a free roam mission and I used this tunnel to escape the law. I think there is also a collectible there too.

I discovered this when doing the Edda Doyle legendary bounty I ran through the door in the back when looking for a place to hid and saw it was a tunnel there

I'd say they put this tunnel in the game as an ode to the old mafia activity that used to happen in New Orleans.

Also a whiskey bottle there every other day and a card on the boat outside the dock
