Always makes me laugh, the absolute opaqueness of these stories. Just like the playground bullies who go around telling everybody who your friends should be. OK, so now the BBC have pushed the government narrative, remember to tell everyone how bad North Koreans are at your next dinner party.

Never would have happened if you keep them in a filing cabinet.

They stored sensitive data on the Internet? It's not North Koreans' fault even if it's stolen because US and UK chose to store such a sensitive data on the Internet. I mean they shouldn't put on something that is accessible remotely. Of course storing it in something that is accessible remotely is very easy to access from a lot of places, but it's too risky and hence, they shouldn't have stored like that.

We are not that dissimilar then. The only real difference between the North Koreans and us is that they won't be overwhelmed by immigration in 5-10 years.

They also have unicorns and Kim Jong Un can resurrect the dead! Truly an amazing place. And foreigners visiting North Korea can access the internet from there. Meanwhile, does anyone remember when the UK hacked into 97 United States military and NASA computers over a 13-month period between February 2001 and March 2002?

If that’s true then N.Korea is the one place we know it’s the government. Therefore immediate military action must take place.

Oh wait no, we’re weak now for some reason.
