With the PlayStation 5 now over four years into its lifecycle, there are a plethora of racing titles to choose from. So many, in fact, that it can be overwhelming. Luckily, we’ve compiled a handy list of the PS5’s 10 best racing games, some of which are enhanced for Sony’s shiny new PS5 Pro console.

From realistic simulations to casual arcade racers and hidden indie gems, these are our picks for the best PS5 racing games you need to play right now. We’re only including native PS5 games in this list, so backwards-compatible PS4 games are not eligible.

Gran Turismo 7 is the only game I play. I've been playing Gran Turismo since it launched back in 1997.

Dakar Desert Rally deserves a spot in the top ten IMO. The experience when you‘re driving the 205 with manual shifter and clutch in simulation mode is really great fun! 🤩
I totally agree on ACC, GT7, WRC, DR2 and Wreckfest, as all of them are great!

Gt7 takes the top spot easily for me, and given its the only one that can be experinced in psvr2 makes it really stand out.

Has incrediable car models, and good varity on different cars, and there is good customize options.

What it lacks is better ai and single player, but it still far beyond any other racing game available for ps5.

We use Assetto for training for Brands hatch, knockhill etc on PC version alot race driver's use it!

The only driving game I play is world of outlaws 24. Love dirt track racing

ACC player here, transitioning from wheel to gamepad i will say that ACC is surprisingly very good on gamepad. Obviously a wheel is better but gamepad definetely is highly enjoyable and very solid.
Wreckfest is great fun as well and it has very good physics that feel rather realistic.

Been wondering—This might be a weird question: but I’ve played a bit of Need For Speed Remastered and Gran Turismo 7 and I’ve noticed that you can zoom out a bit on your car but camera remains pretty close to the car. Drive club which has been delisted for a long time had more choices to zoom out more. GTA 5 isn’t a car racing game, but I love how you can zoom out all the way and the car is more out in front of you or zoom in if you’d like. Any good car racing games that can really zoom out more fully?
