I'm planning on being Juno Birch for Halloween and this Coke bottle maneuver is INSPIRED, thank you my queen! The wig is stunning on you but if you remake it you should definitely use a longer piece for the top so it hits lower (more screen accurate and flattering)

"I loved working on that, that was fun. I have a scar from the wig!" she reveals in a candid chat. "I got a hole in my head from that damn wig! It's always worth it, no complaints. Whatever it takes, just to get that picture."
Marie added that she had to be "sewn into the dress" and couldn't sit (or go to the restroom!) during shooting.
As for the memorable hair piece, she calls it "torture."
"This hair designer did the wig. It was two wigs, real Polish hair, so the weight of it and then my own hair pinned down to a wig cap, it was instant torture and there was nothing you can do, " she says. "You just have to f**king zen out!"

Wikipedia says Colleen Atwoood's inspos for the martian girl were: the playing cards, Marilyn Monroe, the work of Alberto Vargas and Jane Fonda in Barbarella. When it said "the playing cards" I'm not sure if they meant actual playing cards or the original Topps Mars attacks trading cards

Amazing!! I am doing a similar technique with a bottle. Purchased pink braiding hair and some crochet wig caps. Making a Poppy Troll Wig for my granddaughter. I wanted a durable base (for repeated dress up play) so I sewed the bottle on the wig cap. I slipped a crochet wig cap over the bottle so I could attach hair over the bottle.
