Thank you for this! I work with disabled individuals and often I struggle with guardians who refuse to grant access to communication devices, such as this fellow used, because they feel it "discourages real progress" when, in fact, it's a blessed key to a cage their bodies have locked their minds in. Many brilliant and wonderful minds misunderstood. I see the wisdom in that cage and I see the frustration in my clients' eyes when nobody truly seems to understand it's in there.
