I was involved in a total loss accident, which wasn't my fault. I went through my insurance (State Farm) and had them deal with the guilty's insurance (Progressive). The payout they gave me didn't cover my loss, and that was after I rejected their initial offer, which was a joke. Both companies colluded together to screw me over. So I will never defend an insurance company. They all suck and if you have a chance to get paid, do it.

An acquaintance with was doing landscaping, nothing crazy, lived in a house under 200k had an early 2000s truck, one of his friends got him into this, within a couple years he had a 3 million dollar home built is huge property had brand new trucks cars toys even upgraded his wife. By doing insurance roofing, besides causing damage since it was going through insurance, they'd be charging a lot more.They'd get a job done for 4K then he'd keep the remaining 8k
