This song would’ve been beyond perfect to run during the credits of 'Oppenheimer'; especially dovetailing exactly on point with the film’s last delivered line! 30, 000 Megatons is the first thing I listened to after watching it.

But really, I think this song really caltures the vibe of soneone who is just ready for it to end.

Compared to the last three albums this sucks pretty bad, but it has some moments that might grow on me. Sounds like a weird mix of Pink Floyd The Wall, Bowie, Flaming Lips and INXS. If Elton John was born 15 - 20 years later and grew up on ecstasy, indie rock and rave music, this might be an album he would have created in collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys sometime between 1998 and 2004.
