I'm from the states and we'll obviously never meet, but you've helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life with that post fight speech. I lost one of my best friends to an overdose a month ago and was definitely thinking some awful shit about wanting this pain to go away. So, thank you, Paddy

I've struggled and still do with mental health, suicidal thoughts.

I go to gym every day... I'm starting work soon and moving into better accommodation.

I've gone through alot and been diagnosed with PTSD.

For some reason I'm still here... and hearing you say what you said on fight night made me break down there and then.

My prayers to you, his family and friends ❤️

As a female and a 1st year psychology student that struggles with depression, I want to thank you for speaking up about the stigma that men can't show their emotions or struggle with mental health. I really appreciate your powerful words, it encouraged me to continue with my fight and studying psychology. Keep up the good work Paddy and sorry for your loss, remember the good times and what made him great. Love and peace from South Africa 🇿🇦

Respect from Bulgaria lad. I had a friend that killed himself, he always seemed like one of the happiest people, yet he wasn't. When I saw your fight and speech I cried. I kinda felt responsible when he ended it all, for not being a good friend, but nothing I can change now. Thanks for being true and please don't change!

Never was much of an MMA fan until I saw your vlogs Paddy, recently turned my life around from a bad addiction. Thank you for inspiring every man to speak up. You're carrying this sport. A different kind of entertainment. I hope to see you fight in person one day. You're exceptional mate, can't wait till you come over and dominate the states.

I was so moved by Paddys words and got inspired to go get some help for myself. I have had these feelings and urges for too long and been thinkin that no one can help. But speaking helps if you just have the courage to do it. Talk people talk just talk

Lost my Best friend last year. Knew him for 21 years. Never would you know he was struggling in his head. He never spoke up. And all of a sudden, when you get the phonecall that he's not here anymore, you start thinking... what could I have done to avoid this? He never talked...

Appreciate the messege, and the awareness he brings to this problem.

Kept me going man. I've been struggling for a few years now and am at the end of my patience and will to keep it up. It's tough out here boys. Just keep asking for help and you'll find relief eventually. Hope I find it soon.

That postfight interview is what led me to your channel. I tried to take my own life in the summer of 2018. It was a super dark time but I was glad I didn't succeed and that I had not only my family but health professionals to help get me through it..
Thank you for saying what you did.
