SOLER Sonata 84 in D major by concert pianist Stephanie Elbaz

Padre Antonio Soler (1729-1783) is widely recognized as the greatest Spanish composer of 18th century. Very famous during his lifetime, he had however difficulties in reconciling his life of a monk and composing activity. Little accepted by the other monks, he was nicknamed "the devil in monk's habit". In spite of this challenge, he composed an impressive number of beautiful pieces, including 120 sonatas. Amongst them, there is this radiant sonata in D major D84 for piano, which leads us into a full of joy, sparkling Spanish dance.

I had a remarkable recording by DeLarroca of many of these . This one is marvelouslly played by this pianist . Now I must get her cd! So easy to mistake these with their repeated notes for Scarlatti .What is the Rubio number - does anyone know . I want to get the score .
