General Motors trucks, including Chevrolet and GMC trucks of this era are good reliable vehicles, but there are a few things that you need to watch out for and you will need to repair if you own one of these trucks. In this video I go over some of the common problems you will find in the 1988 to 1998 fourth-generation Chevrolet pick up truck I hope this video helps you to keep your old Chevy truck running for a good long time. For the body and under carriage we use sheep fat here in Norway to stave off rust, works like a wonder especially with heavy salting.

Yo. It's way easier to just unbolt the bed from below, scoot it back 4 feet, the remove fuel pump from the top. Leave the tank there. 8 bolts with lock tight if I remember. And easy to get to. 20 minutes.

Interior door handles like to break as well. I had to replace one in my 95 when I first bought it.
