The Biden administration is imposing sanctions on Venezuela after claiming that President Maduro is blocking the presidential campaign of an opposing candidate. This move comes after the Biden administration says Maduro is walking back on a deal made with the the U.S. to hold free elections.

Unpopular opinion..Venezuela is a dictatorship and all but I kind of think it's still messed up that US thinks it has the right to dictate to other countries how to run their country..Venezuela itself hasn't directly threatened United States security..like Russia did to Ukraine. Señorita Machado, was not elected by the Venezuela in any "Primaries" as Primaries should be organized by the Venezuelan Electoral Committee.
