RAeS Highland Branch: Space Hub Sutherland – the journey to create the world’s greenest spaceport

On 9 September 2021, the RAeS Highland Branch hosted Howard Nye (President of the RAeS and Chairman of the Society's Space Specialist Group) and David Oxley (Director of Strategic Projects for Highlands and Islands Enterprise) for an update on the progress of Space Hub Sutherland. Howard's introduction sets out the UK's ambition and government action to promote and grow its space industry David's talk covers how this is being implemented in practice for Space Hub Sutherland.
