MUNICH SHOOTINGS - TERRORIST ATTACK 22 JULY 2016

On 22 July 2016, a shooting was reported in the Olympia shopping mall in the Moosach district of Munich, Germany. Journalists called the incident a "shooting spree". German media have cited a police spokesperson who stated several people have been killed and more injured. Munich police quoted eyewitnesses who reportedly saw three attackers carrying guns. The shooting began at a McDonald's restaurant near the shopping mall. The police described an "acute terror threat". Police also confirmed at least three perpetrators with long-barrelled guns.
