Just purchased Roland's WC-1 wifi thumb drive...so easy to load up new styles and sounds...this is so much easier than loading styles from either yamaha or korg arrangers.

Amazing demonstration of what this little keyboard can do. You could only dream of this quality of sound 20 years ago at this price.
Cheers from Costa Rica. 👍

Hi Amazing keyboard
I was wondering in each GM Sound Bank does it work?!…
Comparable to the Korg EX-50L sound speaking… I use personalise MIdi Files as playback instead of Styles… I’ve recently returned the Korg i3 because of the sounds and now I’m trying to find out witch is the best option for me… is it possible to mix GM sound with others sound on the same Midi and recorded like that?…
Best regards from Funchal…

aight thanks for making this video ❤ i requested more backing tracks and my wish was granted 😊 Tomorrow a buyer comes for the mx61 and when that's done i'm gonna buy the black Go keys 5 but it isn't actually 100% black but still looks good enough for me.

The keyboard and features sounds amazing.. But I've been reading about people having crackling issues with the speakers. Have you noticed?

Tech note: Somehow the audio is not properly synced with the video on this.
I hear the notes, then a few seconds later I see you play them on the keyboard.

Hey! I hope you can help me: Is it normal that while using a scene the sound you do on the keybed yourself is very low? I looked up the mixer and keybed is 127 tone and others too. Thank you.

Do you get used to the 61 keys? How do you combat that when you want that full ~81 key range?

With the original gokeys you can layer by pressing record, then playing your recording while playing something over the top, and continue on making a full song. Kind of like looping but actually layering. I just bought a 5 and when I press the record button while a previous recording is playing, it doesn’t record over the top, it stops and starts a new recording. How to you record over the top on the new 5? Thanks much

I'm torn between the 3 and the 5. $350.00 seems to be as much as I care to spend on a small undersized unweighted keyboard. I have had keyboards this same size going back 30 years ago. Of course this sounds much better. I know you feel the 5 is worth the extra $150.00. The problem is that' for $500.00 you are getting into the fully weighted 88 key instruments. The two allegedly sound about the same. The main thing I see is the expression pedal input in the 5 which is always nice if you are serious player. To me this thing sounds dynamite. I think there could be a 88 key version with a weighted action on the drawing boards at Roland. The advantage of these smaller one is their portability. There could still be very valid reasons for choosing the smaller ones so I guess the real question is 3 or 5?

Hello Phill, thanx for your review. Is it possible to change sounds and drumsets within the styles?

The entire problem with "today's styles", is just that. "Today". A built in obsolescence that's plagued every instrument that could ever boast having "today's styles". You can still get on and play some great keys from the past. No doubt. But are you ever going to touch those "Bossa Nova" or "foxtrot" settings?
Kind of doubtful...
...but if you ever do something cool with them, though, let me know!

Videos are good, but not everyone likes R & B, play some of the other styles.

Styles are not fun because we are not making the music. I got a Go Keys 1 and I just bypass alll the autogenerated music. Should be US making it.
