This is something that most people would never have this come to mind, that every tech in existence NEEDS maintenance. Cleaning IS part of maintenance.

Sure it is a hassle and a chore to get it done and properly without for physical deterioration that can eventually lead to destruction of said device.

Not a lot of people know how to properly clean their said device without throwing it away.

But I am glad Bestbuy is doing their effort to teach their customers on how to properly clean their headphones and earbuds.

What worked well for me to remove the residual bad odor that was there even after the cleaning, was Fabreeze. In my case, that mesh protecting the speakers was the issue.

Video is missing the bit of weeping down the headphones with the towel, went straight to the q tips and small spaces. Might be obvious how to but they went in depth with the ear buds so it just seems like it's missing
