Small businesses around the country said they feel “frightened” as they prepared for further rioting by boarding up shop fronts and closing early.

Police remain braced for further unrest as they monitor reports of at least 100 possible gatherings amid threats against immigration law specialists across the country.

Businesses in areas listed as possible targets said they feel “apprehensive” about the planned disorder on Wednesday evening and are taking precautions including removing valuables from their shops and closing early.

In North Finchley, London, workers were seen boarding up shops while local restaurants had their shutters down on Wednesday afternoon while police patrolled the area.

Orange posters bearing the words “refugees welcome” were also seen around the high street.

Those boards should be set aside after today's protests, there will be plenty of use for those in this failed state.

My cousin has a shop on that road. Apparently already a burnt out car nearby. But also a vid on fb of some English guys getting hit with bats by Asian guys earlier. This will go unreported though. Dont agree with the violence but see why some people are frustrated with immigration due to lack of housing, jobs etc. Our homeless are still homeless but new arrivals get hotels. I can't get a house because I'm a single British male who has paid my taxes. I'll take a hotel or go on that boat they refused to get on.Says it all.

All NHS Staff of Colour should state that they have anxiety and mental health issues because of these racist attacks, and fearful of their lives to travel to and fro from work, so should all workers of colour in Stores, banks, petrol stations, and all essential workers take leave, and stay at home until these riots stop, you should still get full pay. Let's see the UK come to a halt without immigrant workers working.
