A friend of mine growing up had a bit of a frog phase as a kid, and ever since he keeps receiving frog-related things on his birthdays. He's in his 30s now, and he can't stand them given how he only ever receives frog stuff from people now. No matter how many times he tries to explain he doesn't really like frogs anymore, people don't take it seriously and his army of frog stuff continues to grow.

This has truly validated my thoughts about how a person has so much dimensions to them and how we can never truly KNOW a person completely let alone judge anyone because there are so many layers to a person that we do not know that are so profoundly beautiful. This has been so heartwarming to watch, Dish. This video specifically sparked courage in me to pursue the things that I want to pursue. Thank you so much for the gifts you put out to the world!

I first discovered and followed you on tiktok from seeing your inner monologue videos! And since I also have a common interest in Genshin, the youtube algorithm one day sent me one of your videos and I was like "Oh dang! I remember the dish girl!". I'm really happy that you've come so far and gotten to do what many people consider a dream job. Keep doing what makes you happy and working hard at it! I believe you deserve it.

Aside from your genshin/hsr contents, I so so so enjoy watching you just explaining and answering stuff because you always give very meaningful answers. Thank you for sharing this, dish! 🤩

You said you'd like to make more of chatting type of videos, honestly feel free to. Listening to you talk is so comforting somehow, and you telling us to not rush when searching for our career path was so reassuring to me💟i turned 22 in april and have been kinda panicking about my future since i still don't know what i'd like to do with my life, so thank you for sharing your thoughts about it all, you're a really comforting person<3

When I first stumbled upon your videos during the pandemic days, one of the things that made them stick to me in an ocean of new content creators becoming popular with Genshin and similar games was definitely that you seemed to be someone closer to my age, with an aesthetic and interests similar to mine, so watching you made me feel less alone during times I was feeling very lonely.

Life has changed a lot since then, and although I still play Genshin and I plan to continue doing so to the end because I want to know how the story ends, I've developed new interests and I find it refreshing to see a CC that is open about going through the same without "shitting" on the game that helped them get to where they are. You're a genuine person, and the feelings you shared in this video resonated with me a lot.

I would love to continue seeing different sides of you, and I truly believe that, although breaching out has its risks, it is a rewarding journey because the people who do stay get to see you better as a person and enjoy you all the more for it. Wishing you lots of success in your journey, wherever it might be headed to. Love from Brazil 💚💛

Not gonna lie, as someone who’s played Genshin since it first came out- this is my first time actually watching your videos. I’ve known who you are because of Genshin and the Youtube Algorithm always recommending me your videos, but it’s funny that my first video on your channel is a Q&A. Honestly an inspirational moment as I’m hearing this first thing in the morning and you’ve shown your vulnerability to your audience not just as the Genshin Woman, but as your authentic self :) You got yourself a Subscriber!

hii dish! i never really comment (i do be a lurker), but i always put on your videos when i need something to listen to while i get other stuff done, and i really appreciate how comfortable you are being vocal about your emotions and some (maybe) controversial topics that other streamers might not touch on. i think a great example is your video from when you played the recent lantern rite story, and you spent so long talking with your stream about people's upbringings and how they're influenced by them--turning this into a video for youtube was amazing. i loved it, and just as much as the actual lantern rite story made me cry, so did your video when i heard other people's stories too.

i think the more i listen to your more personal videos, the more i relate to your way of thinking. the past year or so, i've grown more comfortable with just branching out and doing a hobby i'm curious about, and i've become more comfortable with trying new things without being afraid of getting it wrong the first time (a terrible habit i took from one of my parents growing up, one i'm trying very hard to shake). i really admire that you're always advocating people to try and to not worry about it too much, and that you're also emphasizing that it's important for you to make content that feels more *you.* what you said is exactly how it is: it's not that your current content isn't you, it's just not all of you.

ramble aside, you've inspired me! i got really into cosplay and the cosplay community maybe 10'ish months ago, and i've been worried sometimes about whether i should create, share, or talk about things that aren't cosplay related on that account. i think i'll start taking the leap and sharing more parts of me to that community than i was previously! thanks for all that you do for us, and thanks for creating your content for us. we're as happy to have you in our lives as you are to be here! much love. i always admire and appreciate how emotionally sensitive and supportive you are as a person. your sincerity can be felt from anywhere in the world, i think. thank you!! <3

This was a cool video ms dish, it was nice to see you more vulnerable! The part where you brought up the thanks of being a part of peoples lives stuck to me, because you were and ARE my biggest comfort content creator. I was dealing with bad medical issues last year, that left me bed written most of the time and in a lot of pain. It was long term and never went away for over a month. Also at the time, I was experiencing a lot of bullying at school — and one of the things that cheered me up so much was watching your videos. All of this was happening when Sumeru had come out, and wanderer was all the rage haha. Sumeru felt so different and magical in comparison to the rest of the regions, and I feel like all the content Genshin creators were making about Sumeru had this unique spark Genshin has yet to come close too. It was awesome seeing you so engrossed in the story in a way that was relatable, and I watched your videos over and over and it helped with the pain I was experiencing. I’ve been watching you for three years now and you’ve always been a very unique and wonderful, and funny person in my eyes. Everytime I rewatch your Sumeru videos I’m reminded of how much you helped me. Love u miss Dish and I’m so excited to see your new content! ❤❤❤

i love it when you make more down to earth videos like these where you just talk to us, your viewers. i love how you are so honest and let yourself show vulnerability to your audience, its a side that I don't see from many content creators. to me, its refreshing and I enjoy listening to your stories and perspectives on the world, life, and yourself. as a big fan, your content has always made me more introspective and I appreciate your wisdom a lot. i watch your videos to destress often because you're a really comforting, inspiring individual. i actually cried(not in a bad way) watching, thank you for this amazing video, ms dish <3

I am slightly older than you but I really connected with your content because I immediately detected a familiarity within you and the more you've been revealing about yourself and the things you have been a fan of throughout time the more it's like "ah, makes sense!"
