GCN's guide to the pro bikes of the 2014 peloton.

A new season means new bikes for the pros. As always, they get their hands on the best bikes out there. There have been a few changes to equipment this year. Specialized will sponsor three WorldTour teams. Cannondale, Trek and Giant are all now title sponsors of teams - we expect to see some really exciting tech coming out of these partnerships.

What is your favourite pro bike? Comment and let us know.

Uhh not to be that guy, but that cobbles bike you showed that was used by Trek Factory Racing is actually a Madone, not a Domane.  Note the integrated front brake and brakeless seatstays, along with the lack of an IsoSpeed pivot at the toptube/seattube.  Sorry... I'm a bike nerd

Nice round up. The Scott Addict is my pick, partly because I'm lucky/poor enough to now own one, partly because I'm Australian and want to see Gerrans in yellow in Paris! Keep up the good work. Love your channel!

0:20 That wasn't a domane.. It is a madone! Judging by the fact there is no ISO speed decopuler and fork in the picture as well as the seatstay is breakless...

2:30 "Only team in the pro peloton to use a Rotor crankset" ... except that at 2:13 you show a Rotor crank on another team.

Hey guys, im trying to buy my first road bike. All my older bikes are mountain bikes. My main purpose for riding as of now is endurance, possibly racing in the future. Pieces I'd like would be shimano 105 set, and aluminum frame (i dont care much for carbon, unless you can recommend based of experience and comparing).
Can someone recommend me a bike? My price range goes up to 1.6$ maybe more if need be.
