First Ride Back On My Appaloosa Post Surgery!

Hey Horse Lovers! A few months ago, you saw how Jiminey wasn't feeling well at the show. We thought he was better after medical treatment, but unfortunately when I came home from the show, I noticed he regressed. We called the vet and immediately loaded him onto the trailer and went to MSU for treatment. He ended up needing emergency surgery. This was a very scary experience, and I felt SO BAD for Jiminey. NOW HE IS FULLY RECOVERED and today you will get to see his FIRST RIDE BACK POST SRUGERY. In this video we will give you all of the updates and as many details as possible. Thank goodness Jiminey is okay and that he gets to go back into his normal routine again. I look forward to telling you about his rehab process and showing you our first ride back. Jiminey says, "It's about time, Mom." I see a touch of stiffness in the back left but the warm up really helped. He is so perfect, in every way. I love watching you ride him.

It is so clear that Jiminey is your ❤ horse. You both look so comfortable with one another - it's hard to explain the difference from the other horses, but it is very clear. So glad to see him getting back into the swing of things. What a beautiful boy!❤

There is nothing like putting your foot in the stirrup, swinging your leg over your horse’s back, settling your foot into the other stirrup and into the saddle!!💖💝💕 Especially, doing this with your heart horse - has all the feels, all the smells and the heart is full!!🥹🥰❣️
I miss my solid, big boned with a moustache ol’ Quarterhorse Blackie, so much!!🥺🥹❤️ I bought him when he was 18 yrs old and he lived to 39 and 11 months old!! He loved being on the trails, working cows, standing in the water while I stream fished from his back, so gentle with young kids and just hanging out.❤️ I haven’t been able to ride for way too many years now because of severe arthritis, etc. I’m 72 yrs. young and facing an 8-10ish hour long Back Spinal Surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Watching your horses, with everything of Free Spirit Equestrian, Kyle and you - gives me so much joy and helps to distract me from my pain. I’ll continue to watch from my hospital bed.
