Here's a tip for all you newbies out there:

Play with maxed out light and skill effects like me, don't turn them off. That way, when a RDM uses LB3, you'll already be used to being blind and will be able to adapt. Either that or you'll go blind anyways, it's a perfect strategy!

I remember there was a moment during last of Void Dark alliance raids, where three rdma used LB3 at the same time against Diabolos. It was glorious.

Pro tip: You can use rescue on someone during their LB3 if they messed up

If they have already finished the cast and are stuck in the animation it will still go off. However, if they are still mid-cast it will be interrupted I think.

Point is, you can pull them to a safe spot and save them!

It's been years since I last played FF14 but I'll never forget my tank friend dragging the boss on top of me when I tried to use limit break.

"Throwing flashbang!" hit WAAAY harder than it needed to! Just this past weekend I got Ifrit in trials roulettes and the Red Mage LB3'd just as Ifrit was doing the attack where he creates "clones" that rush forward, and the Red Mage limit break flashbanged the entire group so no one could see where Ifrit's copies were and over half the team died because we couldn't see well enough to dodge ^^'

I once did a hard Ifrit raid, there was no Melee DPS and we had LB3, "why not" I thought, a few seconds after I've started casting an AOE appeared beneath me but I said "fuck it, I'll take it, ifrit's is almost dead anyways", my bard died right after finishing his cast, totally worth it
