Ron is the man. I missed this on the news and was curious where he went.Since my high school days Ron had been the weather man I always tuned in to watch.Take care Ron and thanks for 36 years keeping all of us safe and informed.

I was a 6th grader in 1980 and remember when Ron first came to Channel 5 they use to put up the seal of approval of the AMS American meterogical society before each of his early weathercasts.

I didn't realize at first why they had left the mics open during the photo montage...glad they got the shot of him going into the party but I would've liked that to be a touch longer, maybe showing the group applauding him.
