Love this thing and what Alpha is doing. The retro styling and the standard cab does make me think of what was a mainstay in the 80's and 90's when trucks were the cheapest vehicles you could get. If they or someone could figure out how to make a bare bones, 2WD, standard cab electric truck that's basic but has good bones for something like $25K (before incentives) it could end up being everyone's first new car, like trucks were when I was a kid (at least in these parts). Then sell a pile of accessories and addons so everyone can make the truck their own over time. So not just retro style, but a retro idea, a basic truck can be in reach for just about anyone and you can aspire to the cooler and better equipped models. Probably never happen, but I love the idea of trucks being cheap again.

Please tell me the production models will have real, physical climate controls / volume knob. The initial renders looked awesome. The move to having a single tablet thing is so frustrating.

Please reconsider adding physical buttons for things like climate control, volume, and other functions. You shouldn’t need to take your eyes off the road to perform said functions.

The Tesla-esq single tablet is not ideal and is dangerous to use in certain situations.
