Is La-Z-Boy The BEST recliner?

Here are 7 things that can only be found on a La-z-Boy.
1. Independent Reclining Back - No requirement to reline your feet when you only want your back to go backwards.
2. Three Position Foot Rest - You and only you knows what position is best for you. How high you want your feet lifted should be a personal decision. :) La-Z-Boy gives you that option.
3. Double Locking Foot Rest - When the chair is relined the foot rest is locked in place. No more adjusting your body in the chair and feet all of the sudden fall. With La-z-boy that doesn't happen.
4. Adjustable Height Leg Rest - There are 16 different potions that the chair will recline to. Which one is best for you? At least now you have a choice.
5. Hinge Seat and Back (No Separation) - This provides better support and you will never have a gap between the back and the seat cushion. Because who wants all your items coming out of your pockets and falling into the chairs black hole.
6. Four Sided Unibody Frame - Quality Construction - These chairs you will have for a long time. No Joking.
7. Adjustable Reclining Tension Back - Not matter your size. If your a lineman for an NFL football team or a featherweight there is an adjustment just for you. Don't get caught struggling to push back the chair or on the flip side its never fun to have a chair recline on you when you least expect it.

BONUS: If you are looking at a La-Z-Boy recliner and it is of the rocking type you are able to change out the feet for a swivel base because everyone wants to be able to turn like a top. :)

Just got a 90s model for a song! I cant believe this thing is still in perfect condition. These new models seem even more advanced!

1st I'd just like to say that this was the best video I've found to answer many if my questions. I did my research on a lot of recliners before buying my Lazyboy rocker recliner. I've only been able to afford the cheapest but knew I had to make a bigger investment. I knew Lazyboy had good reputation. After all my research I went to my local store 3-4 times to sit in different Lazyboys. Each time I spent a couple hours sitting & talking to the sales rep & owner. After all my questions were answered to my satisfaction I bought my 1st Lazyboy rocker recliner. So far I am happy with my purchase even after reading the other comments. I do hope my experience will be positive. My concerns are that any repair I may need involves me transporting the chair to & from. The other is that only the parts are covered. Labor is not & it can be expensive. Because of my research I am hoping the reputation of Lazyboy holds true & I get many years out of my Lazyboy.

Great info! One of these days I’m going to buy one with rocking swivel!

what they don't tell you! The contract signed includes charges to a 3rd party insurance outfit that you have no knowledge of! We only found this out when we had an issue. Yet it shows a $400 charge on the invoice for further coverage of 5 years. Yet when we had a welded part brake and loss of the leg lift the only way we could get it fixed is an upfront charge of 13 for shipping plus 160 dollars for service. This only after 2 years of ownership! We didn't even know that the $400 was paid to a 3rd party, we thought it was paid to Lazy Boy. They refused to cover the chair even though it was clearly a mfg defect.

Hey guys. Do all models of recliners have that specially contoured cut seat foam? I'd like to hope some models would have a square cut seat foam - for that inevitable replacement comes around. Thanks

I just ordered a La-Z-Boy recliner. The estimated delivery time is 6 MONTHS hence, but it will be worth the wait. How much is a swivel base?

Is there a chair with electronic and manual operation?

I will never buy anything from La-Z-Boy again. We ordered two very expensive custom chairs and one ottoman for a total of nearly $5k, yes, nearly $5k, and they were not made well at all. We could not believe it. The fabric was already frayed when the chairs arrived, and the ottoman was so light we wondered if it was made of cardboard. They wouldn't return it or allow us to change it since it was a custom order. Never again.

I have done business with La-Z-Boy for decades. This last purchase I have made has been a nightmare. The quality has gone downhill drastically and customer service is nonexistent. I have spent $3500 on the most uncomfortable furniture I’ve ever bought. This furniture feels like I bought it from a thrift store. I hate it and I hate the way they have been treating me. They will do absolutely nothing about the problems I have had from day one.
I will never do business with lazy boy again.
Save yourself time, money and aggravation. Get your furniture from any other place but not from La-Z-Boy
