That exactly happened to us! It was a jacksonville property. We still have the contract as well that said that we were going to have a turn key property. We had to take over with a lawyer and evict the tenant and take over the property and it cost us 30k to renovate plus the over price that we paid Morris invest (Ocean Pointe) for a property that was falling apart and rats everything rotten. It was a nightmare.! Morris invest washed their hands and said that they are just a referral company for Ocean Pointe which it was not what they had told us or sold their product. They told us that they did not have anything to do with Morris but with Ocean Pointe! This whole thing was horrible. The whole business Morris, sold us as a turn key service not as a platform for us to deal with another company.

WAIT A DAMN MINUTE! You ARE AWARE that he has a youtube channel with thousands and thousands of people. He's doing it FROM Portugal and each day he addresses highly charged political issues and how people are affected. He claims not to be on either side of the fence"glass half full" blah, blah, blah. He places himself with companies that are giving him commissions for gold sales, stock sales and so on. Today I watched him flopping like a fish when the markets were supposed to be so great and I began to realize that HE IS ONE OF THEM! People pay him "super chats" they get to pay him to be visible above anyone else. He is "teaching" people how to start businesses, but most of all he pitches how to get into real estate. He makes is sound like he has a turnkey business and that for a mere 50K (or more) his company can build them a house from the ground up and sell to investors and manage it for them as well. Of course he distances himself from the management company, whoever that is now. EVERY one of these people love him. He's the damndest BEE CHARMER I have EVER seen! ALL of the people on his youtube channel need to KNOW! And in the middle of all of this pandemic and protesting, he is trying to still mess with people. UNBELIEVABLE!

I've been in business for 40+ years - working in Marketing at Colgates world headquarters in NYC and was President of several large business sectors for Kimberly-Clark. I also started up and sold two businesses. I learned that one of the most important things you can do when partnering with someone (or doing business with them) is only do business with people you like, that have a spotless history and have impeccable ethics. The longest, largest, thickest legal agreement in the world won't mean anything if you are doing business with a jerk.

I contacted Morris invest because I was fascinated with his business model & really wanted to invest in Indy. Once I started asking common sense questions before dropping 50k, I heard nothing but crickets. I even followed up a few more times because I was eager to get into the business. So glad I did my DD & followed my gut. He’s a bonafide crook. Hopefully he pays for his illicit behavior.

Been a subscriber to Clayton Morris' news channel here on YouTube for a few weeks now. After coming across these videos on his realtor fraud scam I will be unsubscribing to his news channel! Don't like scam artists!! Thanks for the info and good luck with your fight against this P.O.S!!

I'm a victim of the Morris Invest Fraud. I hope a civil judgment comes down against Clayton for fraud. If he gets away with this, it will make me very callous to the concept of justice.

People get sucked in by his "charming" personality ~ I see it going on in his Morning Invest show. He has a new "pay to play" scam going on right now that violates all the norms of the youtube viewer experience, where he allows ONLY paying members to participate in his live chats. No other channel does this. He has proven he does not, in ANY way, value his loyal viewers and subscribers. You got to come up with the money to have a voice at the table. Granted it's only 1.99 month, but if EVERY youtube channel did that, it would really take a bite out of the pocketbook. (It's the principle that matters here!) As a result the community is now divided with paying members at war with non-paying subscribers and viewers who speak up in opposition to this policy. It's really SICK and makes my stomach turn!
