I did a spread that showed at our current income what each step would realistically look like for us- upping savings, more giving, etc... and it was AWESOME. Work towards the dreams and live and enjoy them.

Do you ever think you should t bother saving for kids college? Our parents didn't pay for us... We need to look after ourselves in retirement so our children don't have to . that's a good gift
