If I’m remembering correctly, transform layers can be used in the transform hierarchy to move multiple animation layers at once, which is useful if you’re animating a flock of birds.

In the settings panel you can turn on a setting so you won’t fill when touching with your finger or palm…. Also there is a setting where you can hold down the pen for a second and pick the colors on screen

For the playback when you want to watch your animation without lag, I have found that dropping down the frames and the drawing layers so that your animation is in full screen usually takes away the lag 🙂‍↕️
