I did a bit of analysis on the rolling XIRR over a period of 20 years for HUL, and see that the XIRR works to about 13% (ex. dividend). Assuming that 8% is the amount that you can get on average in FD or other fixed income instruments, that is a premium of 1.625. Interestingly, this is also a number in the Golden Ratio. I found this observation interesting.
