So last week some farmer asked for help for their hay season for their horses, I volunteered a weekend to pick and load 19 tons of square bales. Seeing the square bale laying on the field made me wonder how it was done. That lead me to here and thank you for sharing these knowledge.

I just cant believe how they have access to just such a large variety of fruits, trees and plants. Feels like they live in paradise. Fresh produce right on their door step, surrounded by nature and enjoyed together in a close knit family and community! All the money in the world cant buy what they have.

What a TOP MAN, 89 years young & still doing the job he loves, what an inspiration you are my-friend, if I'm fortunate to live to 89 & have stable mind & fit & agile as you SIR!! I'll be very lucky & a very happy man.
Hay making was always my favourite time & still is, I've made my back creak many times pitching bales with a pitch fork, nice to have & work with the modern machinery of today though & the pitch fork a very distance memory.
Never stop doing the job you love as it's such a massive part of your life, it keeps your mind working & your body fit & agile.
Keep knocking them bales out my-friend & carry on as you do, those horses need your top quality HAY!!🐴🐴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👍

Reminds me of when I used to do that, but we didn't have a stack wagon we had the baler and a wagon we'd have to load by hand with three or four guys, we'd put the tractor on auto pilot and just start tossing bales, the day was over when boss would bring out cold beer, good ole days, Crownsville Md.

Great video. I haven't cut & bailed, for 2 or 3 years, since I don't have any horses now & my children are all grown & gone. But I plan on turning my ground over, reseeding, & seeing if my Grandson will help me, as he has in the past. I need something to do. Thank you again for the wonderful video.

I wish we has stack wagons when I was young. I spent my summers throwing bails on a wagon. We were lucky enough at least to have an elevator.

Definitely mechanize the process as much as possible because it’s really hard to hand stack bales on a wagon or in a barn, , , and it’s really dusty too.
