The CEOs of the companies involved should have gone to jail!

if they pay out $$ to every Canadian ... each of us will get $12.19 That's maybe 2 or 3 loaves of bread. Go figure.

As compensation to the poorest consumers … it should be a requirement that the guilty parties produce a loaf for 99 cents and sell it for a dollar at every location they overcharged . And a healthy loaf at that amounting to at least 10 % of their daily quantity supplied. Will help the single parents, the elderly, the unemployed and the poor in general . Stealing from the poor ..only crime lower is scamming our seniors. .

They need to allow more grocery store giants to set up shop in Canada. Aldi would send the Canadian supermarket industry, upside down. Would be a win for the Canadian consumer.

It should have been noticed immediately by a federal government, as I am only a pitiful citizen in a non elected position. It was obvious as Covid developed, and the situation created closures of restaurants, stores, and other businesses that not only toilet paper was in demand, but the actual supply of food that creates the use for toilet paper was in trouble.
That government should have leveled the entire playing field for every Canadian, across Canada by controlling the inflation of food and properly reimbursing or capping every citizen in the early days.
It was funny how fuel was the cheapest at any point in years, but the food was still expensive, as someone somewhere, was making immense profits.
That was where the government should have used food refunds instead of the useless programs that did not help everyone equally.

Yes, Loblaw, Weston Bread may plan to use A.I. to use Dynamic Pricing. They will possiisblity asses your net worth and charge acordingly. They may be out to get me now, but who cares.

I plan to never shop at a place that Galen Weston owns ever again. There are many issues with others, but Galen is a prime example of the 1% not caring about us. Shop local.

Jail! I no longer support these criminals. If they did this, what else did they do?

Ah, name dropping to please the masters: Jack-meat (who's brother lobbies for the Loblaw competition) and Turd-eau.
I don't like Weston as a person but I'm not dumb to believe that grocery prices are high because of one man. Maybe if you tell me that that man is Turd-eau I can consider it.
