UPDATE 6/2021: With the new daily/weekly mission structure, you still should do daily pulls, but you no longer have to do a full 10 builds per week to get all the cube rewards. As such, you can forego the build 10 ships mission and easily still get all the rewards. This actually makes cube gain even better than it was in this video. Nothing else has changed, so this guide remains the best cube accumulation method so far. By the way, when I say rotate commissions 2X a day (the 10 hour + 3 smaller ones), that's at a minimum. If you want to optimize, you should rotate those suckers as soon as possible. Happy saving!

I'm semi f2p, I never spend money for cubes, only for rings and skins, every single pull have been f2p, this game is the most f2p friendly .

When I started the game I went heavy on special construction because JUST LET ME HAVE SOME BACKLINE SHIPS DANG IT!
I was under the impression that special construction was the only way to get non-vanguard ships.
RNG was not kind...

You recommend this in your guild, yeah it rehashed what I knew. I've watched this before, my issue was DOA event really drained me and I tried to get Mikasa only to realize she's permanently added.

But the idea of doing the 10 hr commission might help. I generally ignore it. I use to have an oil problem, I would max limit break to save on ship yard spots and fir faction points but that always costs me oil. Guess I need to make a low oil fleet once I'm down farming season 3 ships.

yeah Azur Lane is very forgiving and generous when it comes to cubes.

Really what you're spending money on is the Skins or Rings for your Ship Girls rather then actually getting the shipgirls themselves.

I don't know if it is just me cube is never a problem. the real issue is gold.

Getting ships is really easy and f2p friendly
If anything it's upgrading your dock's spaces that will cost you(until you don't care about collecting them all)

It's true. I got all the Ashen Simulacrum ships in 60 cubes. Anniversary banner? 300 cubes before I got my first Taihou.

Yeah Azur Lane is my favorite gacha simply because of how forgiving it is (plus it has some of the best character design ever). I cleared the entire most recent event banner in just 2 10-pulls. I could never do that in any other game, no matter how lucky I get.
