In this video covering the thinnest swatch watch, I do a full Swatch skinflag review; covering all aspects of the piece. This is part of the skin irony range and boasts the ultra-thin side profile shown in the thumbnail. Is it better than the previous ones I reviewed? Let's find out.

Thanks to Amazon for covering the cost of the watch being reviewed.

Ben's Watch Club tends to cover affordable watches like Seiko, Timex, Casio, Citizen, MVMT, Vincero, Bulova, Orient, Hamilton, and more. We rarely feature luxury watches like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Tudor, Grand Seiko, Cartier, Omega, Audemars Piguet, or Hublot due to their price.

I still have swatch watches that I bought in the 80/90s.. Just a change of battery and they continue to keep perfect time.. I think for the money I have spent over the years they have always served me well... You also have admire the huge variety of designs they continue to produce..

I've never been the biggest fan of Swatch. That being said, I can see where their following is coming from, collectible and novelty pieces.

I am a histopathologist and I can see myself writing skinflag on one of my patient's reports. A skin flag measuring 30x20x5mm with a raised dial covering the whole of the right wrist. Microscopical examination shows quartz movement with a widespread Anyway, what a name!

6:24 - Spot on! I have looked at Swatches multiple times to find a slim 37/38mm. Never could.

Comparing this SWATCH with DW...oh my!!! If I have to choose one : SWATCH all the way ! I agree with you about the "bad" or maybe "non existant" marketing strategy. Maybe they think "we are SWATCH, everybody on earth knows us. We are Swiss hu hu"... Ok BUT there is no solid communication about products... And I'm french near Switzerland ! The last time I've seen something about Swatch, it was about one automatic model and a 007 collection... and that's all. I love swatch watches even if they are a bit expensive. Don"t forget it's a Swiss product and not a cheap chinese product with poor quality control. By the way great vid ! Cheers.

I disagree strongly with your qualms about Swatch's price point. You seem to be forgetting that they're Swiss made. This makes their labor overhead significantly higher than a Chinese sweatshop worker who's literally beaten into working 16 hour shifts, 7 days a week. When you take into consideration that they're made using fair labor, that makes the price of these watches far more reasonable.

I must confess, I just ordered the Swatch SKINNAVY Unisex Watch (Model: SS07S102) - it will be the first Swatch watch I have ever owned- I like the slim design and metal case and it will be the first in my conservative collection.

So I've just flown to Munich from Manchester Airport. What did I see Manchester Airport duty free a Swatch Skin Brushed SYXS102 Fleigher dial. It's discontinued but what a beauty!

I own this as the Q series. The watch itself isnt discontinued. They only release it in other style variants. However you hit the nail with this review ;) Great job!

At first i used to be hatin swatch watches. But when see the complex model (musicall, cofee break, dive meter one) i just went banana addicted.

It’s got quartz movement but the complication is amazing the ticking is similiar to mechanical watch also just imagine a mechanical quartz depth meter watch. Even the stop watch version felt like designed well. It’s pretty cheap too if u buy it secondhand and get the older vintage model

My first watch was a Swatch, I still have a few of them and they are still fun to wear. I just couldn't put Swatches in a category with Daniel Wellington or that sort of thing, they are better than that.

i have one of the plastic swatches and i kinda like it . light as a feather, durable and even fairly waterproof with a piece of tuck tape over the battery hatch . especially as i paid like 5 dollars for it .

I still have the same swatch my wife, then girlfriend bought me in 1994! Still work fine. Of course there maybe better watches out there for the money but each to their own.

A leather strap, and this would be a very good dress watch, perfect both at the office and at a wedding. Very interesting. Worth considering.
