Qatl e Amd is usually known as Qatl but in law, there are also types of Qatl in law.
Section 300 PPC describes the Qatl e Amd, punishment of which is mentioned under section 302. Section 315 PPC defines the Qatl e Shibh - I -amd while section 316 describes its punishment. Meanwhile, section 318 describes Qatl-i-Khatta, the sentence of which is mentioned under section 319. Lastly, section 321 of PPC deals with Qatl-bis-Sabab, the punishment of which is mentioned under section 322.
