Cedric the Entertainer and his wife, Lorna Wells, have two children: Croix (born 2000) and Lucky Rose (born 2003). Cedric said when it comes to finding a strategy that has worked for connecting with his kids, he says it's about individual meetings.

Cedric has an office in his house and while his son and daughter are three years apart, he says he brings them into his office individually first, and then together to have a conversation. He says his wife usually preps him with some bullets while he has been on the road, an Cedric says it helps his relationship with his kids as well as building their confidence.

Ice Cube has four children with his wife Kimberly Woodruff and he says he shares stories with his kids to better help his kids understand that dad does know what they are going through because he experienced it at such a young.
