Woman arrested for kidnapping missing mother's child

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office has arrested a woman connected to the disappearance of a Muncie mother more than nine years after she was last seen.

Ashley Mullis disappeared in September 2013, and her parents reported her missing the next month.

On Wednesday, detectives from the sheriff's office went to Asheville, North Carolina, to arrest 66-year-old Sheila York for kidnapping and obstruction of justice in connection to the case.

I remember this case and I swear I really wanted that older man to pay the price of what he did to Ashley. But he passed which sucks because he’ll never pay the consequences of his actions. So glad Ashley’s father will be getting answers.

This was such a sad story, it breaks my heart 💔 I can't thank y'all enough for helping this father. Hopefully they will get answers soon and Don can get his grandchild back with him and Ashley's remains can be found so her Dad can lay her to rest 🙏🙏🙏
