We see here a character flaw in Regina that haunts her throughout her life.  She has this tendency to get 'tunnel vision', especially when she's angry or lustful or frustrated.  She'll have this 'clever' idea and all she sees is her own idea of what's going to happen, she tunes out the surround and doesn't think about contingencies.  So she makes that turnover and it never even occurs to her that somebody else might get a bite of it besides Emma, or that Henry might be nearby and do something heroic and Charming-ish.  Tunnel vision.  We see it a lot in S2 and S4, too.

I love how she was still like "But you're still in his life." like she didn't know that Emma was going to be cursed anyways. Being too okay with Emma's proposal would've made Emma suspicious. Genius.

I know she didn't mean anything dirty but I still think dirty. Honestly what were the writers thinking with that line? xD Even before I shipped Swan Queen the line still sounded dirty to me. I thought it is how my brain is wired but I think almost everyone thought something dirty, even though it wasn't intended
