Here in the UK there is a whole "cottage industry" of back yard flower growers. I mean there are at least 3 within a 5 mile radius of me and I even sell mine to local farm shops and I get custom orders off the back of that. Lots of fairly well off people in my area want custom bouquets for dinner parties, and garden parties etc. It can be lucrative even in a small space. My garden looks kind of jungly rather than manicured as a result but the wildlife also benefits. I have so many birds bees and butterflies it's like a mini nature reserve. I also think people like flowers that are organic and grown in a way that benefits the environment. I think you are going to be a real success honestly. i feel it in my bones.

Would it be possible to have a video on how you're going to plan the garden? I'm so excited to see your garden this summer!

Thanks to you, I've started growing cut flowers! I decorate the church with them. You are my inspiration and mentor. May God bless you! And your family. Be strong and entrust your plans to God. With Him all things are possible.

You have such an encyclopedic knowledge of flowers! With that all that knowledge, your passion for gardening, and experience of growing thousands of flowers on the farm, your garden will be amazing!

Your bouquet arrangements were stunning. So amazing. That is your biggest talent as far as I’m concerned, been watching your videos for years.

I have planted Rosanne Brown Lisianthus from seeds. Oh man! It took 7 months from the day I started the seeds to harvesting the blooms. I compared it to being pregnant. 😅 🤰🏻 The Benary’s Giant Zinnias are my top favorites, too! I’ve tried Queen Lime series of zinnias as well. All beautiful! Btw, you inspired me to turn my grassy backyard into a miniature flower farm look. I have been watching your channel for about 5 years now. ❤

If you haven’t germinated delphinium yet, my best way of having success is 2 weeks + in fridge, then bring out at 70 degrees potted in whatever you want to grow your seedlings in light layer of vermiculite and a very lightly damp towel over top until seeds have germinated. If the towels dries out you know to mist the sees/towel, but if it stays damp leave it alone. The delphinium seeds rot super easy. I had about 90+% germination with this method. Been trying for the past two years and failing with other ways at about 30% germination. So excited delphiniums are my favorite after roses!

I grow 1000 flower seedlings a year for my own enjoyment. I have grown Lisianthus for 4 years and this year they are the biggest they have ever been at this stage. I love the Asters and had gorgeous blooms in 2023 but last year we had leaf hoppers for the first time ever and I got the asters yellow. I will cover them this year with row cover. I have also grown the ornamental kale for years, I start in the summer for all winter interest and they are still in my containers with pansies Zone 7. One thing is they are very prone to the white moths that lay the eggs and they eat the kale. After I put them outside in the tray to grow on I just cover a piece of row cover and by November after I have planted them out taken the cover off as they are gone by this time. Love them…..Happy Growing….Can’t wait to see what you have.❤

The last few years I have not had the time or frankly the energy to do much with my garden. This year I will finally have the time and you are giving me the energy! I am so hyped to see what you do with your new space!

Oh my goodness! If you can ship to the U.S. I would totally buy some lisianthus plugs from you!!

I really feel you with having to reinvent your life. Last May I had to shut down my dance studio of 23 years. Perimenopause hit me like a truck and destroyed my immune system, my mental health and so much more. I also had some family issues with aging parents. I couldn’t function and I had no choice but to make some impossibly difficult big changes. The grieving process while being incredibly sick AND having some huge life stressors on top of it was absolutely devastating. But as I’m coming out the other side I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there. Give yourself grace and time. And in case you need to hear it, you did nothing wrong. You are amazing.
