Here’s my theory: When Sid steals Hannah’s dolly, to replace from a dolly head with a Pterodactyl head, then Hannah’s reaction and her scream at her dolly after Sid is giving her dolly back, just to tell her mom, and that’s why the monster was scared at it when she screams horrified and then escapes from Sid’s torture room

It wasn’t sid it was Sid’s sister remember Sid and Andy are the same age except Sid went to military school when he got older, and Andy went to college. Syd sister endured a lot of abuse mental abuse from her brother. She is a bigger monster than sid could ever be.. the truth of the matter is Sid was scared. That’s why he became so crazy and abusive to his toys, because he made them to attack the monsters that entered his room portal.
